12Robotics is a U.S.-based startup building a marketplace and data platform for new and pre-owned humanoid and quadruped robots.
We are creating a place where manufacturers, dealers, robot owners, and buyers can list, discover, buy, sell, and rent robots and components.
For new robots, 12Robotics helps buyers discover available models and connect with manufacturers and dealers. For pre-owned robots, the platform creates a structured record for each individual asset — including its model, configuration, usage, condition, components, documents, and market history. Over time, this data can grow into an Asset History, Robot Passport, and market intelligence for the robotics industry.
As marketplace activity grows, 12Robotics can also support transactions through specialized partners providing financing, leasing, insurance, escrow, logistics, and deployment services. Our goal is to make robots easier to discover, buy, sell, rent, understand, and own throughout their lifecycle.
How we work
Buying a robot is a six-figure decision made with almost no comparable information. Manufacturers publish brochures, integrators sell what they carry, and the buyer is left guessing whether a machine even fits through their aisles.
12.Robotics exists to close that gap. We collect the specifications that decide the outcome — payload, reach, footprint, turning radius, runtime, ingress protection, certification — from manufacturer documentation, and keep a link to the source on every field.
From there the work is simple and honest: your constraints filter the catalogue, the remaining candidates are ranked and explained, and the payback is calculated against your own shift pattern and labour cost. We show ranges and the assumptions behind them, never a single reassuring number.
We do not resell robots and we are not paid to rank one manufacturer above another.
