What goes into a passport

You decide what a buyer sees

Each passport has its own link. It is not listed anywhere or indexed by search engines; only people you send the link to can open it.

On the passport page

  • The robot, its declared condition and service history
  • City and country
  • Photos and service reports
  • Serial number with only the last four characters shown

Hidden unless you turn it on

  • Your name or company name
  • Purchase price and seller
  • The full serial number
  • Receipts, contracts, warranty and logs: buyers only see that they exist and can ask you for them

Your email is never shown. Buyers reach you through 12Robotics.

What the passport is, and what it is not

Everything in a passport is entered by the owner. 12Robotics does not inspect the robot or check the documents, and the passport says so on every page and on the PDF. It is a well-kept record, not a certificate.

  1. Owner-declared

Today. Entered by the owner, not checked.

  2. Diagnostics verified

Coming. Verification through the 12Robotics diagnostics app, with data read from the robot itself.
